Russian as a foreign language teacher

Education:

- Undergraduate student at George Mason University (Virginia), majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Information Technology.

About Me

I teach Computer Science and Mathematics at the ‘International Kids House’ school (Reston, Virginia). I am passionate about literature, music, and theater. I am an actress at the musical theater ‘Zerkalo’ (Virginia). I have worked as a camp counselor at the children’s camp ‘Theatrical Holidays’ (Maryland) and at the children’s camp ‘Dance Holidays with the Zerkalo Theater’ (Virginia).

I believe that teaching Russian as a foreign language to young children should be engaging, enjoyable, and joyful. A child is a little explorer, and my task as a teacher is to create a language environment in which they feel confident, free, and motivated.

My goal is not just to teach words and phrases, but to spark interest in the language and develop communication skills through games, movement, music, stories, and creativity.
