About Me

I had taught Russian language, literature, and world art culture in Russian schools, including specialized schools for gifted children (such as the “Dubna” Lyceum). I worked as a curriculum specialist at the Department of Public Education in Dubna, Moscow Region. From 2010 to 2021, I worked at Russian School “Olympus” (Maryland) as a Russian language and literature teacher and assistant principal, as well as at “Russian Kids House” (Virginia).

I believe that the most important goal in my work is fostering students' interest in the Russian language and literature. I use active teaching methods that develop speech and critical thinking skills, as well as communication abilities necessary for fluency in the Russian literary language in various contexts and situations. Learning should bring joy, spark curiosity, and encourage personal growth and self-development.

I enjoy being at school, interacting with students and colleagues. I appreciate the constant movement and positivity, the energy boost, the opportunity to be creative, move forward, and do what I love.
